Narges Mansouri Transferred to Hospital after 23 Days of Hunger Strike in Evin Prison

According to experiences from human rights sources, Narges Mansouri, a political prisoner, has been on a starvation strike for 23 days and was lately transferred from Evin jail to the hospital resulting from her deteriorating bodily situation.

On January 26, Narges Mansouri, who’s detained within the girls’s ward of Evin jail, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after happening a starvation strike to protest the “confiscation of his mom’s home.”

Mansouri, a signatory of “Statement 14” calling for the transition from the Islamic Republic and the resignation of Ali Khamenei, has said that the accountability of saving her life now lies with Khamenei.

It has been reported that the order to public sale Narges Mansouri’s mom’s home was issued whereas she is in jail, and her lawyer has expressed concern about her well being, suspecting she could have most cancers.
