Mansour Shishehforoush, the Director-General of Crisis Management for Isfahan Province, reported on Saturday, December 25, about a significant fire incident at the Isfahan Oil Refinery. The fire was reported at 10 AM, affecting the inlet pipes in the distillation unit of the refinery’s gasoline production area. Though the blaze was successfully contained after several hours, it caused heavy smoke that enveloped the area. The situation is now under control.
To tackle the fire, 25 teams of firefighters from Isfahan, Shahin Shahr, Mymeh, and surrounding industrial towns were dispatched to the refinery. The quick response and coordinated efforts of these teams played a crucial role in controlling the fire and preventing further escalation. The incident, while serious, was managed effectively, and the injured are receiving necessary medical attention.
