A tragic shooting incident occurred at the Police Retirees Center in Khorramabad, the capital of Lorestan province, on Thursday, December 21. The incident resulted in the death of two retirees and the injury of two others.
While the exact cause of the shooting is not yet clear, unofficial sources claim that it stemmed from a verbal altercation, during which Colonel Bahrami allegedly fired shots at his colleagues with a handgun.
Reza Tamizkar, a former police employee, shared a video stating that Colonel Bahrami had shot Colonel Heidari and Mehdi Tahmasbi with a handgun.
The Deputy Command of the Lorestan Police stated in a release that the altercation was due to “personal animosity” and was not related to the police.
