What Seton Hall’s win means for St. John’s Big East Tournament seeding

Seton Hall probably punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament with a 66-56 win over Villanova on Wednesday night time on the Prudential Center.
But what does that imply for St. John’s?
With the win, Seton Hall (19-11, 12-7 Big East) might be pretty much as good because the No. 4 seed in subsequent week’s Big East match.
St. John’s (18-12, 10-9) is at the moment tied for fifth place within the convention with Villanova (17-13, 10-9) and Providence (19-11, 10-9).

With 4 straight wins, the Red Storm rapidly moved into the NCAA Tournament, profitable three-way tiebreakers towards Villanova and Providence to earn the No. 5 seed within the Big East Tournament.
Even if St. John’s beats Georgetown on Saturday, the one state of affairs by which it would not end fifth is that if Villanova loses to Creighton and Providence upsets UW.

As for Seton Hall, Cadary Richmond had 20 factors, six rebounds, and 5 assists, and the Pirates snapped an eight-game dropping streak towards Villanova.
