TEHRAN, April 27 (Xinhua) — The sixth Iran Export Potential Exhibition, often known as Iran Expo 2024, opened within the capital Tehran on Saturday.
The exhibition, which runs till Wednesday, attracted 2,000 worldwide merchants and entrepreneurs from 120 nations, in addition to 800 native firms, in keeping with state information company IRNA.
According to IRNA, 3,500 business-to-business conferences are scheduled through the occasion, in addition to specialised conferences and webinars aimed toward introducing Iran’s industrial capabilities to worldwide members.
Within an space of 50,000 sq. meters, exhibiting firms showcased their newest merchandise and achievements throughout varied fields akin to trade, agriculture, fisheries, carpet weaving, handicrafts, tourism, laboratory gear and chemistry.
Speaking on the opening ceremony, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi mentioned that Iran, backed by its sources and “environment friendly, decisive, creative and inventive” workforce, is a world chief in producing quite a few and numerous improvements in varied fields. He mentioned that it may be offered.
The opening ceremony was attended by Abbas Aliabadi, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, different Iranian officers, together with Trade Promotion Agency President Mehdi Zeigami, and a number of other overseas company. ■
