Iran commutes billionaire’s loss of life sentence to twenty years in jail


TEHRAN, Iran — Iranian judiciary officers stated Tuesday they’ve commuted the loss of life sentence of a tycoon who returned about $2.1 billion in property from illegally promoting oil overseas to twenty years in jail, state information company IRNA reported. .

Babak Zanjani, 48, was sentenced to loss of life in 2016 on quite a few expenses together with cash laundering, forgery and fraud that disrupted the nation’s economic system.
