Marshall University breaks floor on new Cybersecurity Institute


HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Dozens of individuals gathered Friday afternoon on the proposed website of the Marshall University Cybersecurity Institute. President Brad D. Smith invited friends from across the state to the groundbreaking ceremony.

The groundbreaking ceremony marked the official begin of building on a venture made attainable by a partnership between state and native governments, universities from throughout West Virginia, and the army. It will probably be an 80,000 sq. foot, four-story constructing that may home cybersecurity know-how and supply trade throughout the area with entry to coaching and instruction to be taught the newest cyber developments.
