The Iranian-backed groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad carried out an attack on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 Israelis and sparking a full-scale war in Gaza. This was followed by Hezbollah, also supported by Iran, launching over 1,000 rockets at northern Israeli communities, escalating the risk of regional conflict. Furthermore, Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen are threatening the Suez Canal by attacking and hijacking ships. Additionally, militias in Syria and Iraq, with support from Iran, are targeting U.S. bases and posing a threat to moderate Arab nations.
It’s clear that the Iranian regime is at the heart of most of the Middle East’s problems and a significant portion of global terrorism. Despite this, there has been little action taken against it. For 45 years, the regime has been responsible for widespread war, terror, and suffering around the world. It’s time to acknowledge that enough is enough, and the oppressive regime of Iran must be brought down.
