Two Porters, Farshad Rostamnejad and Yousef Choupani, Seriously Injured by Direct Fire from Islamic Republic Forces in Border Areas of Baneh and Nousoud

Farshad Rostamnejad, 33, and Yousef Choupani, 19, two Kurdish porters (Kulbars), have been severely injured resulting from direct gunfire by the Islamic Republic’s forces within the border areas of Baneh and Nousoud. Kulbars, who are sometimes from impoverished backgrounds, undertake the duty of carrying items throughout mountainous borders, going through excessive dangers together with harsh terrains and safety threats.

This incident has sparked outrage and concern amongst human rights activists and native communities. The taking pictures, which seems unprovoked, highlights the risks confronted by Kulbars of their line of labor, particularly within the politically delicate border areas. These areas are sometimes tightly managed by the Islamic Republic’s forces, who justify their harsh measures as mandatory for border safety.

The situation of Rostamnejad and Choupani, who have been reportedly unarmed and merely finishing up their commerce, is at present crucial. The incident requires rapid consideration to the plight of Kulbars and raises questions on the usage of deadly pressure in border administration and the rights of marginalized communities in these conflict-prone areas.

Human rights organizations are calling for an investigation into the incident and for the safety of the rights of Kulbars, who are sometimes caught within the crossfire of border politics and safety measures. The worldwide neighborhood is urged to observe the scenario carefully and advocate for the security and rights of those weak staff.
