An Iranian diplomat has been appointed as chair of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) Social Forum in November 2023. UNHRC Chairman Vaclav Barek introduced the appointment of an Iranian international coverage knowledgeable in a letter dated May 10, 2023.
