During a cabinet session at the presidential compound, the Iranian president spoke out about the events in Gaza, criticizing the US for its “cruel, inhumane, and anti-humanitarian” nature. He highlighted the international recognition of the need to end unilateralism in the international arena to tackle global challenges.
Raisi emphasized that the awakening of nations will pave the way for changing the world’s conditions and offering hope for the establishment of a just system based on multilateralism worldwide.
He also mentioned that on Friday, the US vetoed the UAE-proposed resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of nearly 18,000 Palestinians, with around two-thirds of them being women and children.
