Guy Stern was a German who fled Nazi Germany at fifteen before returning to interrogate prisoners of war in World War II with a military intelligence program. He passed away at the age of 101 in West Bloomfield, Michigan. His death was confirmed by his wife, Susanna Piontek. Stern was one of the Ritchie Boys, a group of soldiers who trained to interrogate, interpret, and extract vital information. At his death, he was director of the International Institute of the Righteous at the Zekelman Holocaust Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
