WHO, Iranian Ministry of Health and World Bank collaborate to advance environmental and social standards in Iran's public health sector23 December 2023 – WHO efficiently led efforts to strengthen environmental, occupational well being, and affected person security within the public well being sector of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This main achievement is a part of the Iran Coronavirus Emergency Response Project-Additional Financing (ICERP-AF), a three way partnership between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the World Bank, and the WHO. The undertaking, which started in January 2022 with a €76.1 million mortgage settlement, goals to enhance entry to life-saving medical gear and companies throughout the nation.
