Three citizens from Bukan, named Kamran Soltani, Raouf Sheikh Maroufi, and Mohammad Faraji, who were arrested last year during the revolution in the city of Bukan by Khamenei’s mercenaries, have been charged with “Corruption on Earth,” an offense that could potentially lead to the death penalty.
According to the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, Raouf Sheikh Maroufi, Mohammad Faraji, and Kamran Soltani were arrested respectively on the 5th, 3rd, and 8th of Esfand last year by Khamenei’s mercenaries in Bukan and were transferred to the terrorist detention center of Urmia Intelligence Bureau.
While detained at the terrorist detention center of the Urmia Intelligence Bureau, these individuals were reportedly subjected to solitary confinement for forced confessions and acceptance of the charge of “participation in the murder of one of the security agents” in Bukan. Despite enduring significant pressure and psychological torture, they have denied these accusations.
These three Kurdish citizens were transferred to Bukan Prison on the 20th of Khordad this year at the end of their interrogation period. They have been held in temporary detention in prison since then.
