Members of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan have been not too long ago sentenced to loss of life after an unfair trial in Branch 26 of the Islamic Revolutionary Court in Tehran. They have been charged with “enmity towards God” (moharebeh) and “spying for Israel,” in line with the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).
The people, Faramarzi (28), Mazloum (27), Azarbar (26), and Fatehi (28), have been arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence on July 20, 2002, in a village in Orumiyeh, West Azerbaijan Province. Faramarzi is from Dehgolan, Kurdistan Province; Mazloum is from Mahabad, West Azerbaijan Province; Azarbar is from Bukan, West Azerbaijan Province; and Fatehi is from Kamyaran, Kurdistan Province.
Since their arrest, they’ve been denied household visits and entry to a chosen lawyer, and their place of detention stays unknown.
The safety companies of the Islamic Republic of Iran compelled these 4 political prisoners to admit with repeated fictitious situations, alleging hyperlinks with the Israeli secret service Mossad, which have been broadcast on state tv.
The program claimed that the Komala members had been arrested in Isfahan, Isfahan Province, contradicting the household’s assertion to KHRN that “opposite to the Ministry of Intelligence’s claims, these people have been solely despatched to Orumiyeh for organizational and political actions and didn’t carry any weapons.”
