Iranian Singer Mehdi Yarrahi Sentenced to Prison and Lashes, Temporarily Released on Bail

Zahra Minoui, a judiciary lawyer, introduced that Mehdi Yarrahi, an Iranian singer and artist, has been sentenced by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to a complete of two years and eight months in jail and 74 lashes. One 12 months of the jail sentence is enforceable.

She added that Mr. Yarrahi is at the moment quickly launched on a bail of “15 billion Tomans.”
