DUBAI, Jan 22 (Reuters) – The trigger of a giant blast in Iran‘s Semnan province was decided as a fighter jet breaking the sound barrier on Monday, state media reported.
Iranian state media had earlier mentioned a big explosion was heard on the Garmsar industrial city, the fourth such incident within the province of Semnan in per week, in accordance with semi-official Mehr information company.
“Upon investigating, officers introduced that no explosion or smoke was noticed from the Garmsar industrial space,” state media mentioned.
“It is now recognized that the reason for the blast was a fighter jet breaking the sound barrier within the space after flying its jet under the permissible velocity,” state media added, with out specifying whether or not the jet was Iranian.
