The armed wing of the Palestinian militant group Hamas on Tuesday claimed duty for a rocket assault that killed 21 Israeli troopers within the Gaza Strip.
Israel earlier blamed unidentified Palestinian militants for the rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) assault on Monday, which was the deadliest day so far for the Israeli army in its marketing campaign in Gaza.
“Watch the execution by Al-Qassam Brigades fighters of a compound operation in opposition to the enemy troopers and autos east of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp,” Hamas stated in a message launched to the media, accompanying a video of the assault.
Israeli army spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari instructed reporters in Tel Aviv that the militants’ rockets hit a constructing the place Israeli forces had laid explosives. The strike brought on that constructing and one subsequent to it to break down, he stated.
