Ukrainians deny taking pictures down airplane carrying POWs, Russians declare duty

Russia has accused Ukraine of taking pictures down a airplane carrying Ukrainian prisoners of battle. It says the plane was heading throughout the border for a POW trade and that each one 74 folks on board have been killed.

Russians within the western area of Belgorod alongside the border with Ukraine say they noticed the airplane crash and explode on Wednesday. Russia’s protection ministry mentioned its radar had detected the launch of two Western-made missiles from Ukraine.

Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov mentioned, “The Ukrainian management confirmed its true colours with this assault. It paid no regard to the lives of its personal residents.”

Both sides have been conscious {that a} prisoner trade was deliberate. Russian officers mentioned they have been transporting 65 Ukrainian troopers as a part of that swap.

Ukrainian officers haven’t confirmed that they fired the missiles nor have they denied duty. However, the intelligence company claimed in an announcement that the Russians didn’t warn them the airplane was about to enter the airspace and accused them of attempting to “destabilize Ukrainian society.”

Russian delegates to the United Nations are calling for an emergency session of the Security Council to debate the incident.
