Conference at London Law Society Discusses Threats Posed by Islamic Republic to Lawyers

An exiled Iranian lawyer who beforehand labored in Iran described the hazards of working towards regulation within the Islamic Republic throughout a Jan. 24 Iran human rights convention held on the Law Society of England and Wales headquarters in London.

  • Hadi Ghaemi, Executive Director, Centre for Human Rights in Iran;
  • Caoilfhionn Gallagher, a senior lawyer at Doughty Street Chambers; and
  • Sandrine Giraud, the vice chairman of the Geneva bar affiliation.
