Colombia Becomes the forty first Member of Combined Maritime Forces within the Middle East

MANAMA, Bahrain – Combined Maritime Forces welcomed Colombia because the forty first member of the world’s largest maritime safety partnership, Jan 21.

“It is a privilege to have Colombia as an official a part of CMF,” stated Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, CMF commander. “We welcome the Colombians within the largest worldwide naval coalition, devoted to maritime safety and stability within the Middle East, and defending among the world’s most necessary waterways. I look ahead to sharing our experiences and being ‘Ready Together’ with our new companions ”

CMF is comprised of a headquarters employees and 5 mixed process forces specializing in defeating terrorism, stopping piracy, encouraging regional cooperation, and selling a secure maritime surroundings. The naval partnership upholds the worldwide rules-based order by supporting safety and stability throughout 3.2 million sq. miles of water encompassing among the world’s most necessary delivery lanes.
