A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck the southern Pacific coast of Guatemala late on Friday, in response to the US Geological Survey (USGS), inflicting some to flee their houses and with early stories of injury to buildings.
The earthquake was additionally felt in neighboring El Salvador.
