MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) – Two folks had been killed in a three-vehicle wrong-way crash on Interstate 84 in Manchester this morning, in line with Connecticut State Police.
Just earlier than 4:30 this morning, State Police Troop H responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 East in Manchester.
According to state police, a 2023 Freightliner semi-truck was touring east in the correct lane of Interstate 84 alongside a 2023 International MV607 semi-truck touring in the identical course within the middle lane. . At the time, officers mentioned the 2008 Audi was touring the improper means eastbound into the correct lane for unknown causes.
The Audi then collided head-on with a Freightliner semi-truck. The influence of the collision pushed the Audi into the middle lane, the place it collided with an International semi-truck.
