FBI searches for Iranian spy suspected of plotting to assassinate Mike Pompeo and different US officers

The FBI is looking for an Iranian spy suspected of plotting to assassinate former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and different U.S. authorities officers.
Majid Dastani Farahani speaks Farashi, French, Spanish and English and continuously travels between Iran and Venezuela, in accordance with an alert issued Friday by the company’s Miami subject workplace.
The 41-year-old suspect, an alleged member of Iran’s brutal Ministry of Intelligence and Security, was recruiting “people for operations within the United States, together with deadly targets of present/former populations.” [U.S. government] Officials,” the FBI stated.
The warning comes as Iran seeks revenge for the assassination of Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani by the United States in 2020 on Pompeo’s watch.
Federal authorities say Farahani was recruiting “as revenge” for Soleimani’s demise.
The FBI issued a public alert for Majid Dasjani Farahani on Friday.
Farahani speaks Farashi, French, Spanish and English.
Pompeo and former President Donald Trump’s particular envoy to Iran, Brian Hook, got 24-hour safety safety following experiences of the menace, Semaphore information company stated.
