April 27, 2024 – WASHINGTON, DC — On Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) congratulated President Biden on signing the Mahasa Amini Human Rights and Security Agreement. 
Accountability (MAHSA) Legislated as a part of the National Security Supplemental Package. The bipartisan invoice, co-led by Sen. Padilla with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), would impose sanctions on the supreme chief of the repressive Islamic regime, the supreme chief of Iran, and the supreme chief of Iran.
