Roane State Community College will host a cybersecurity camp this summer time for highschool college students from Anderson, Campbell and Scott counties. Registration is at present being accepted and participation is free.
This camp is designed as a full-fledged course for college students in grades 9-12 who’re occupied with cybersecurity and pc science. His analysis pursuits embrace community visualization, mapping, and simulation, in addition to digital forensics and danger evaluation.

The Anderson County Higher Education Center is positioned at 220 Frank L. Diggs Drive in Clinton, the Campbell County campus is positioned at 201 Independence Lane in La Follette, and the Scott County campus is positioned at 410 WH Swain Boulevard in Huntsville. Dr. George Megabugabu, Roane State Computer Information Technology Program Director, will lead all three camps made doable by way of a grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC). Students can attend without spending a dime, as ARC sponsorship covers the price of every pupil’s registration. Camp T-shirts may even be given away.
