Deploying federal forces shortly after these assaults is a chaotic escalation.
The concern individuals are feeling in our metropolis now could be very sensible. It is felt in our neighborhood and in our households, placing our neighborhoods in danger. This is what our metropolis wants on the finish and I urge protesters to keep up peace.
I’ve been in contact with immigration rights leaders and native regulation enforcement officers this morning. Los Angeles is all the time standing with everybody who calls our metropolis house.
The “protesters” ignored the bottom’s suggestion and continued to confront federal officers on Sunday, clashing with police and blocking the highways because the National Guard started to deploy on the president’s orders.
