On CNN’s “suburbs,” Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, D., stated President Donald Trump was commenting that she and Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) “paid troublemakers” had been “completely ridiculous.”
Host Erin Burnett stated, “I simply need to provide the alternative to answer what President Trump stated at present. You know you have been at conferences all day. You might not have heard of it. “They are incompetent, they usually paid troublemakers, agitators and rebels.”
Bass stated, “Oh, wait a minute. Are you saying we stated we paid for the violence to occur? Was that what you stated?”
Burnett stated, “I’m simply quoting you what he stated. As our Kristen Holmes reported, it could be unclear precisely what he means, and what he is saying, however that is a quote from what he stated.”
“Well, I’ll say it is completely ridiculous that both myself or the governor is cooperating with the vandalism and violence that’s occurring in our metropolis in any means, in a roundabout way, in a type or within the type. I do not assume he is ever heard of my feedback or my press conferences,” Bass stated.
